Our "Whole Child" Evaluation Process

• Comprehensive Clinical Interview: We conduct an in-depth parent consultation with a specialized focus on early milestones, intense interests, and signs of asynchronous development (where intellectual growth outpaces emotional or social maturity).

• Advanced Cognitive Testing: We use specialized tasks and high-ceiling assessments to accurately measure intellectual potential across both verbal and non-verbal domains.

• Mapping Strengths: We identify exactly how your child excels—whether through abstract reasoning, rapid processing, or spatial visualization—providing the objective data needed to advocate for advanced classes or enrichment.

• Addressing the "Gap": We carefully screen for co-occurring conditions, such as ADHD or Learning Disorders, that may be masking your child's true abilities—a profile known as Twice-Exceptional (2e).

• Multi-persepctive Input: With your permission, we may gather insights from teachers or other professionals who observe your child's abilities.

• Observations of Problem-Solving: We observe your child’s persistence, curiosity, and approach to complex challenges during the assessment to understand their unique learning style.
